The stars in his eyes beam
I look at him and quiver
His love for me is flowing
I drown in his sweet river
He shines into my soul
my clouds he does uncover
His lips are my undoing
For he's my cosmic Lover
The stars in his eyes beam
I look at him and quiver
His love for me is flowing
I drown in his sweet river
He shines into my soul
my clouds he does uncover
His lips are my undoing
For he's my cosmic Lover
Insolence and indifference
Two faced and deceiving
Outward facade of the dream
Inside the isolation
Manipulative anger
Slow demise of the one
He says he loves
Not caring as long as
His selfishness is assuaged.
The little boy inside the man
Wins
every time
As she becomes
Numb
With no return
Hello, I hope this post finds you all as well as can be expected! Much Love!
I sit day after day
The meaning of life runs through
My mind
Do you mind if I decay while waiting
For tomorrow?
Is there someone to lift
Me up
to breath
Help inflate my lungs?
Or are you content
to let me fade
Away
Because you only think of
Yourself
You are content and happy
To waste away
On the couch
With drink
Drink that numbs the life
I am craving to return to
Get up!
Get up!
Get up!
Please help me live again
Put your “I love you’s” to work
Resuscitate my
Hardened existence
How cold the love can be
Not what he let me see
Resigned to do my best
In all this stupid mess.
The days are slipping by
The years do make me cry
Alone with my regret
The end that I beget
From Infant to Aged
The one that held her hand
when needed,
is now holding hers
for strength.
Concern and nurturing
have traded places.
As one grows weak,
the other is now strong
Salvation
He is the resurrector
of my unknown death.
The rescuer who found
me when no on else
knew I was lost.
Depth of life has
been restored
Deep love with boundaries
surround me.
I am whole again
for the first time.
Faith - Triolet
She breathes his beating heart in hers.
His touch and words are oh so pure.
Their love does stand the test of time.
She breathes his beating heart in hers.
Her heart he cradles in his hands.
She has no doubt he is her man.
She breathes his beating heart in hers.
His touch and words are oh so pure.
The stars in his eyes beam
I look at him and quiver
His love for me is flowing
I drown in his sweet river
He shines into my soul
my clouds he does uncover
His lips are my undoing
For he's my cosmic Lover
Happy winter!
Stay warm, happy, and always have a book open :)
Triolet
The simpleness of being there.
In holding hands, and soulful stares.
I dream of this for my hurt heart.
The simpleness of being there.
I miss the days where two unite.
The warmth of you throughout the night.
The simpleness of being there.
In holding hands and soulful stares.
Absorption of Life
Reflective is the minds eyes
roving over the years.
Glue the pieces together,
with laughter and often tears.
Mirror the moments we love,
holding close to our beating heart.
Sorrow we push to the back,
yet joys we never do part.
Cloud the images over,
set them as we’d like to see.
Our conscience can then be at peace,
our future can then be set free.
